A Speedparts bot that connects to Speedpoint with an API key and buys Need to Order parts for the shop on its own rules. Six screens in presenting order: the light Speedpoint Location integration page (key, master user, agent contact, read-only rules), the Speedparts agent (rules with a live auto / ask / skip helper, API keys, runs, approvals), an eight-step walkthrough of Run #42 (detect, time, price, consolidate, budget bar, decide board, notify, write back) with Play run, the SMS / email / Slack summary, the mobile review page (approve the over-budget order, approve a Speedparts swap), and the write-back in Speedpoint: POs created by the agent and WO lines with a Before / After toggle, new cost and the Below margin goal flag. Approve anywhere and every screen follows; Reset demo starts over.

One box on the v2 Work Order ledger, beside Add Item. Type a short term ("alternator", "0W-20") for instant mixed results — the whole job, MOTOR labor, Speedparts that fit, Your catalog and Packages — or ask for work ("add an oil change", "front pads and rotors") and a planner builds a preview card per job: MOTOR labor, inventory-first oil, best-fit parts, inline questions (150A or 180A? Engine?) and four kinds of unticked suggestions (MOTOR add-on time, supplies, this shop's history, due by mileage). Nothing lands until Add. Quick Quote is prompt-first and also fills client and vehicle. Live mode plans through /api/ai-search with MOTOR and Speedparts; Scripted plays the same plans offline. Show plan prints every tool call; the Rulings panel lists the 10/16 decisions.

The whole found-work loop in one click-through, matched to the updated PRDs. The WO Quotes tab (Pending, Added, Deferred, Declined rows; badge counts Pending only), Part/Labor Requests converting straight into an attached v2 quote, the quote page's On approval line and its new Work order card (Now / After approving / Paid / Balance, live), and the approval window's Customer decisions (Approve / Defer per group) with Authorized by. Also Defer groups on a quote, DVI Build Quote, the customer's online link and portal (approve two, decline one, Saved for later) plus the portal quote list, Visit 2's Available for this vehicle with Attach and Bring back, the Quotes list Source chips, and WO-side Defer on the ledger with blocked lines and the overpayment warning. Switch screen, visit, role, WO state and customer view from the prototype bar; the Rulings panel lists the decisions it follows. Profitability on the v2 Work Order view (the V1 build). Every group card gets GP $, GP %, GP-per-hour and a Below Goal pill beside its subtotal, and the bottom bar gets GP / GP % / GP / HR. Labor cost is real: pay for clocked time by tech pay type, plus an estimate for unclocked hours, marked est. Two new settings under My Shop › Target Margin › Profitability (GP% goal, Estimated labor cost per hour) drive it live. Switch role (Extended / Standard tech view), goal, estimate and seed (Standard / Empty / Nothing clocked yet), and turn on Show math to see every figure broken down.

Both halves of the CARFAX integration. Service History (SPD-2401) is the advisor-facing panel, living in the DETAILS rail of the Work Order: vehicle decode, CARFAX’s 17 tracked maintenance categories with the date and odometer each was last done anywhere, the full record list with open recalls, and Add to RO on any reported service. Switch between rich / sparse / no-history / no-VIN vehicles and force the loading, unavailable and invalid-VIN states. Behind the Scenes (SPD-2400) explains the nightly outbound feed that has no UI: the six-step pipeline, a live classifier sandbox loaded with real National Speed labor operations, a six-line work order where only two lines publish, the pipe-delimited output file, and the real 8% publish rate.

Switch role (admin / billing contact / team member) and billing state (healthy / payment failed / escalated / locked) from the chrome bar to walk every surface in the epic: stored card + ACH with the recurring billing date, a designated billing contact, the persistent decline banner backed by a live Finix recovery timeline (+1/+3/+8/+15 retries, +19 auto-cancel), update-and-pay-now self-service, the SpeedPoint admin notification-config UI (schedule + banner/SMS/email channels + escalation threshold), and the role-routed account-lock screens. Reacts to Finix webhooks (Model A).

Stop flat-rate pay re-prorating across pay periods. Payroll Runs (named, non-overlapping periods) plus a combined admin-only Paid workflow that freezes the period figures and lets you adjust submitted hours before locking. The period a flat-rate job completes pays book minus already-paid, so a job always totals its full book amount. Compare both Paid granularities (per-row select vs close whole run) and toggle the current buggy report for contrast. Built on the Greg Wall $432 case.
